Dabba is an Indian
Hindi film written and directed by Ritesh Batra, and produced by Guneet Monga
and Anurag Kashyap, amongst others, starring Irrfan Khan, Nimrat Kaur and
Nawazuddin Siddiqui. The film was jointly produced by Sikhya Entertainment, DAR
motion pictures, NFDC, India, ROH Films, Germany, ASAP Films, France and the
Cine Mosaic, US.[2] The directorial debut film was screened at International
Critics' Week at the 2013 Cannes Film Festival, and later won the Critics Week
Viewers Choice Award also Rail d'Or.[3] It is scheduled to be
shown at the 2013 Toronto International Film Festival.[4] The film is set to be
released in India, U.S., and U.K. on September 20, 2013.
